Starting at the park and taking in the beautiful beach and castle green, this challenging but beautiful run will take you around the town of Ballybunion and back your starting point for your 1st transition to begin your cycle.
-
Leaving from main park, cyclists will take on Doon Hill and journey towards Asdee, turning left at The Store. From here the cyclists will take on the most challenging section of the Duathlon, Beale Hill. This cycle is tough but the rewards are great, as you take in the most spectacular views at the top. Cyclists are further rewarded with a lovely downhill cruise into Ballybunion and back into Transition.

The run will have you striding out towards Ahafona, taking a left turn up by McEnery’s Caravan Park and up the Hill. This is an out and back run, so leave nothing in the tank and bring it home in style.
